Join Adventurously Yours as we embark on a 5-day journey through the heart of Oman, crafted especially for women who seek adventure, culture, and breathtaking landscapes. We'll begin our exploration in the city, marveling at the grandeur of mosques and historic charm of palaces and then we'll dive into the local culture. 

We'll continue to venture into the natural wonders of Oman seeing a sinkhole and wadi's and experience the thrill of a 4x4 safari in the desert. After all this excitement, we'll relax under the starlit sky in a desert camp.

 Sightseeing at Sultan Qaboos Grand MosqueIcon for Sightseeing

Our city tour begins with a visit to the beautiful Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the Middle East, the only mosque open to non-Muslims and expatriates in Oman.

Visit Bait Al Zubair Museum. When you leave the Museum tour you will be satisfied with the wealth of information you have learnt about the country’s structure, tradition and heritage.

We will have a photo stop at the official residence of his Majesty the Al Alam Palace, which is flanked by the 16th century Portuguese forts of Mirani and Jalali.

Travel along the picturesque Muttrah Corniche and visit Muttrah Souq which retains the chaotic interest of a traditional Arab market albeit housed under modern timber roofing.

Enjoy a moment along the corniche admiring the various cruise ships on the water at Mina Al Sultan Qaboos Port.

Icon for Sightseeing Sightseeing at Bimmah Sinkhole

We will depart from Muscat to travel south towards the Quriyat Region. After traveling just a few kilometers we will find ourselves absorbed in an almost lunar world where unreal mountains dominate the view. We will continue to the mountainous landscape arriving at the dramatic Bimmah Sinkhole.

Upon arrival at Wadi Shab we will transfer to a small fishing boat to cross the wadi & hike 35-40 mins through the rocky terrain of the wadi. Some Climbing and swimming are required. After this, we'll travel to Wahiba Sands which is famous for its multicolored sand which is located in Sharqiyah Desert.  As soon as we reach desert, we'll check into the desert camp.

First stop will be Wadi Bani Khalid, one of Oman’s most beautiful wadis. The wadi has clear deep blue water and counts among the few wadis of Oman that hold water all year round. From the mountain springs, the water is led to the oasis where it sustains the typical date palms. The pretty villages of Wadi Bani Khalid cling precariously to the rugged mountainside. We'll walk through the wadi to reach the pools.

After a buffet lunch at Wadi Bani Khalid, you will continue to travel back towards Muscat. You will make a further stop at Al Mudayrib and Ibra to view the watch towers which proudly overlook the villages.

Visit the powerful Fort with its massive Circular Cannon Tower, one of the most impressive forts in Oman and the traditional Souq

Al Hamra:

Drive to Al Hamra to see one of the oldest villages of this region. The traditional mud houses dated back from 400 years are still occupied.

Visit at Jebel Shams, “Sun Mountain”, Oman’s highest peak at 3009 meters. The cooler temperatures will surprise as you reach the top to get a spectacular view of the “Grand Canyon”.

Check out and Transfer to Muscat International Airport for Departure.

**Please note - this tour has a very early arrival.  We will check in right away and have time for a few hours of sleep before starting our tour. We will be driving from place to place.  The combination of flight arrival and driving may be tiring for some so please consider if these are conditions that will work for you.

**When exploring the wadi's we'll need to hike and walk through rocky terrain. A moderate fitness level is required with some climbing and swimming required.  Comfortable footwear (waterproof), swimwear (comfortable), towel and change of clothes will be needed.

**Deposit is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
